Grace's Graduation

When Kai "graduated" from Cooper Country Day School last year (or was it two summers ago), I politely declined the invitation. I came up with some story about how Kai really hadn't done anything to graduate and that while we could and probably should celebrate everyday things, it was about as meaningful as "Kai pooped", or "Kai coughed".

That was my position till Grace got on the phone and asked me why I couldn't come to her graduation. So a couple of Saturdays ago, we spent a few hours celebrating Grace's accomplishments and upcoming transition to kindergarten. I took a bunch of pictures. They were somewhere between poor and terrible. But I like this one because it personifies Grace.
